Go Gators!!! The Florida Gators are the 2008 National College Football Champions! On January 8th, 2009 the Gators beat the Oklahoma Sooners 24-14 in the BCS National Championship game in Miami, FL at Dolphin Stadium. The big and powerful SEC defense proved too much for the Big XII Champions who typically put up 60+ points per game. Tim Tebow was once again tremendous and showed that he would be much better than the "4th best quarterback in the Big XII."
